In 2024, Canadian singer Myles Lloyd released his breakout single “Drive Me Crazy.” The track became a hit worldwide, garnering over 26 million streams, a co-sign from ENHYPEN, and even an appearance on South Korea’s Top 200 charts. With Myles painting a dreamy, soulful soundscape through this song, it’s no secret that “Drive Me Crazy” resonated with the masses.
Fast forward two years, and the Montreal-based R&B artist is on the road touring with JUNNY for the Canadian leg of his tour. As a celebration, Myles tapped JUNNY, GEMINI, and Karencici to create “DMC,” a reimagined version of the song.
Myles Lloyd says, “Seeing all the love coming out of Korea really reignited my passion for the high energy feeling that K-pop brings. I went back and revisited a lot of the songs I used to love and discovered some newer artists along the way like Karencici, JUNNY, and Gemini. Even though it felt like a long shot, I knew I had to find a way to bring them all together on one record.“
