Continuing a streak of deeply emotive releases this year, rising singer-songwriter Ally Salort is back with a new track titled “Proof.”
The LA-based artist’s new ballad reflects on feelings of being left behind by someone, only to have them realize what they’ve missed out on once they’re gone. Lyrically, Ally recognizes the feelings of jealousy from the former lover, and asks why it took being with someone new for them to realize exactly what they missed out on.
