Chinese-Canadian singer-songwriter PIAO is bringing an otherworldly experience to your ears with her new single “Willowtree.”

“Willowtree” is a song that sounds as if it could easily be part of a movie soundtrack, as PIAO’s vocals gracefully glide over a somber piano melody that quickly transforms into a dramatic musical affair. It captures the inner conflict one feels when one can’t help but long for someone or something, despite trying their hardest to fight that feeling. This is PIAO’s third release of the year, following the equally captivating singles “Dear baby” and “if i am me, then who are you?”
