Baylee Littrell has been making a name for himself in the pop landscape, and his music has been doing most of the talking. Since competing on Season 23 of American Idol, Baylee was determined to create a musical identity that leans greatly into the pop and R&B influences he’s loved throughout his life.

Recently, Baylee released a new single titled “I’ve Had Enough,” which is about the struggles surrounding difficult life decisions and taking them head-on. The song follows “So Be It,” a track that helped define Baylee’s new path as an artist, bringing listeners a totally different vibe than what they had previously seen on American Idol. The song has also received support from major radio stations across the country, and quickly propelled Baylee into yet another career milestone — Touring with the Jonas Brothers on The Burning Up Tour All Over Again.

From new music to performing in some of the nation’s largest arenas, 2026 has truly been a monumental year for Baylee Littrell. I had the chance to catch up with him about his journey so far!

“I’ve Had Enough” is about being in a tough place mentally. What do you hope listeners take from this song if they’re in a similar headspace right now?

I hope the message conveys to them that it’s ok to not be ok. “I’ve Had Enough” also conveys to the listener to be their own light and to not give up on themselves even in times of hardship.

Your previous single “So Be It” is climbing the ranks of Top 40 radio. What does this accomplishment mean to you?

It’s so fantastic to see “So Be It” do well at radio. This is an accomplishment I have always dreamed of.

Were there any significant differences between your creative approach for “I’ve Had Enough” and “So Be It”?

Of course. Well, both these songs were written during a tough time in my life. “I’ve Had Enough” as a true song derived from vulnerability. “So Be It” had more of an intentional narrative whereas “I’ve Had Enough” is more on the raw side.

You’re currently on tour with the Jonas Brothers, and just had the chance to open up for them in your hometown of Atlanta. What did that experience mean to you, especially at this point in your career?

It feels so good to be able to have opportunities like this and play my hometown while doing so. The hometown show is always the scariest, but the most memorable.

What are some of the biggest lessons you’ve learned so far just from being on this tour?

To really cherish the moment and enjoy each day with your band. It’s been such an amazing time out here on the road with them. We all love to immerse ourselves in the culture of each city we play.

What are some songs, albums, or artists that are inspiring you at the moment?

Definitely love Harry Styles and his career trajectory. I’ve listened to a lot of Jeff Buckley’s music this past summer which has also inspired my music as of late.
