Munch On Max Leone’s New EP ‘Malleable’

If Max Leone’s music has graced your ears at any point over the past year, you have something in common with him that needs to be pointed out! Well, two things actually.

First, you’ve been eagerly awaiting his debut EP. You’ve fallen in love with songs such as “the craziest thing i’ve ever done,” “5,” or perhaps most recently, “untitled.” You absolutely love indulging in his anti-pop vibes, although he’s not quite sure what the word “anti-pop” means.

Second, you’re filled with joy, because the EP is finally out today!

That’s right! Today, Max Leone has released his debut EP Malleable for the entire world to enjoy. The nine-track project takes listeners on a mini tour around Max’s brain, and different angles of his creative approach. It also reflects the changes Max has been through, since Malleable had been in the works for well over a year and a half.

“I feel like especially in the past year, everyone’s kinda realized a lot of things about themselves, their life, and how they want to change things in their lives,” Max mentioned. “I think the music reflects those changes. It definitely covers a wide spectrum of genre and themes and stuff like that, but at it’s core I think it does represent me and how I’ve changed as well.”

Max also wanted to pair Malleable with another special treat. You can watch the brand new music video for “Escape” below!

Nothing ever stays the same, and Malleable embraces inevitable change. Since releasing his first single “First Grade” at the beginning of 2020, Max admits that he has become a lot more aware and critical about his creative visions. He spilled, “I feel like I’m realizing more and more often that quarantine has affected the way I think about myself, and what art I want to put into the world. I think that has had a direct correlation on what kind of songs I’m writing, and what kind of songs I want to release.”

And guess what? Max is excited for his creative evolution to continue. “As I kind of continue to put music out and write more, I think in five years what I’m putting out will be very different than what I’m putting out now,” he said.

Malleable is out now, so go listen to it. Savor it. Munch on it. Take it all in! Listen below.
