The following presentation is rated G, as in GOOD THING CONCERTS ARE BACK!
After over a year and a half, live music has finally resumed at The Observatory North Park in San Diego. Last Tuesday, Olivia O’Brien was the first artist to grace the stage once again, and there couldn’t have been a better artist to do the honors!
There was also no doubt that Olivia was glad to be performing in person again. Within the first few moments of the show, she recalled her previous show in San Diego on the final day of February 2020. It was also one of the last shows on her “It Was A Sad F**king Tour,” right before the touring world came to a screeching halt. Fans have been waiting patiently to hear their favorite songs live again, especially those from Olivia’s latest album Episodes: Season 1. There was a overwhelming sentiment in the room of simply wanting to pick up right where things were left off, and well… that’s exactly what happened. After a brief introduction where Olivia rolled her own opening credits for her show, she immediately reminded everyone of how good it felt to be back together enjoying live music.
Once again, on the final day of the month. Ladies and gentlemen, that’s the magic of “The Olivia O’Brien Show”! Check out photos from her set below.
