BEAUTY BOX Packs Tons Of Love Into ‘B-STEP’

It’s time to unbox all the fun of BEAUTY BOX’s new mini album B-STEP!

Ever since BEAUTY BOX made their debut in the later half of 2021, the multinational girl group has filled the K-Pop space with tons of cheer and charisma! Last September, BEAUTY BOX’s first single album “Beyond Of BB” showcased a delightful electro-pop sound and a concept that celebrates being young. Members Anh, Gahyun, Jerin, Sara, Sori and Rina are now ready to invite listeners from around the world to check out their next step as a group.

Releasing an EP is honestly an excellent “next step.” B-STEP isn’t just any mini album though. It’s BEAUTY BOX’s very first! The title B-STEP symbolizes the baby steps the group is taking towards fulfilling their dreams. Let’s take a glance at the project together!

B-STEP opens with the title track “BOGGLE BOGGLE,” a glistening pop anthem coated with perfectly polished vocals from the members. In the song, the members express their excitement for seeing a love interest. Over a very short period of time, I’ve become a sucker for bright, anthemic songs from girl groups that have fun lyrics about falling head over heels for someone. That being said, you can be sure that “BOGGLE BOGGLE” is doing the trick for me.

“PLZ PLZ PLZ” is another energetic track about pleading for someone’s love, but the mild pop-rock vibe creates quite a refreshing mood! BEAUTY BOX also does wonders with the guitar in “Favorite,” as they turn up the amplifier a little higher. A cleverly placed rap also helps make this song my literal favorite from the album.

Before heading into an English version of their debut single “RAT A TAT,” BEAUTY BOX take an opportunity to show gratitude to those who have shown their unconditional support. The gentle synth-pop track “Thank U” asks us to stay by BEAUTY BOX’s side forever!

B-STEP shows us that BEAUTY BOX has a lot more in store for us… so why not make some room on your stan list for them?
