Gen Z hitmaker SOMBR is back with a vulnerable new track, “My Body Isn’t Ready.”

Written solely by SOMBR, the song addresses the familiar battle of body image issues and feeling comfortable in your own skin. Sometimes, the battle can feel amplified when one feels that they may not be good enough for someone they love. In this case, SOMBR conveys feeling stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, as though he may not be worthy of one’s love until he can fully love himself. “My Body Isn’t Ready” is a song that really makes SOMBR live up to his name, as the subject matter is quite somber. This is also a song that makes him live up to his reputation of being a stand-out talent in today’s musical landscape.

Next month, SOMBR will embark on his North American You Are The Reason Arena Tour, kicking off in Mexico City on July 22.
